This workshop will provide an historical overview of the current Texas BEI testing system, the development of the new Medical Interpreter Certification (MIC) test format, and information regarding eligibility.

Interested certified interpreters will, after the webinar, understand the TX BEI MIC test development process. They will also understand the eligibility criteria for test candidacy.

The presenter will provide PowerPoint slides via webinar. Participants are expected to provide their own access point (laptop, desktop, mobile device) and internet access.

To earn CEUs, the participants must take a pre-test (link in registration confirmation email) and a post-test (link sent following the webinar), and also remain actively engaged in the webinar via random interactive polls throughout the session.  If you need RID CEUs, contact an RID CEU provider in advance of the session to request PINRA approval to earn CEUs.
